Lontontoy No. 58

I tried to win this nice Londontoy No. 58 truck. It was listed for sale $9.99 so I bid $20.00 thinking it would be fine. The days passed and I figured I would win it. However, at the last minute when I wasn't able to be around the computer, someone bid $20.02 for it and snatched it away! That is too bad because this is a really nice looking truck. Oh well, I will find another. Seller's description as follows:

Londontoy No. 57 Bus

I found the images of this bus on Etsy. Seller's description is as follows:

Lontontoy Train T1 Locomotive

I found this via a Google image search. It was for an eBay posting that ended back on February 8, 2015. It sold for $5.50 USD plus shipping. Vendor's description as follows:

Rare Vintage Diecast Toy Train Engine London Toy Made in Canada 1940 -1950s

Beautiful vintage diecast train engine. Black paint has some appealing chips. Wheels are made of some type of natural composite material, looks like cork or a pressed paper product - not wood or plastic. 1 1/4" tall and 4" long. Circa 1940s-1950s. The bottom has "London Toy", "T 1", and "Made in Canada" imprinted.

I found these pictures on an eBay posting that ended on March 22, 2015. It is for a Londontoy No. 35 Thunderbolt Racer. It sold after 14 bids for $202.50 $USD plus shipping. The seller's description is as follows:

Here is a rare canadian toy,a LONDONTOY NO 35 THUNDERBOLT RACER,,dinky and kingsbury made these and are fairly easy to find but this canadian model is a tough find.

Londontoy Moving Truck

Just found this truck on eBay. I have never seen anything like this before. Apparently this truck, and about 300 other vintage die cast vehicles are from an estate sale. This truck is expected to go for anywhere between $60 and $80 US plus a 20% premium added to the winning bid. The estate sale auction company's description is as follows:

Unknown Londontoy car

I found some pictures via Google image search of a "Londontoy Futuristic Car". Sadly there was no reference to what model # it was. Following are the 2 pictures I found of it.

Very recently I also found a car for sale on eBay. The seller's description as follows:

VINTAGE "HUBLEY" KIDDIE TOY CONVERTIBLE CAR 6 1/4" LONG MADE USA

VINTAGE "HUBLEY" KIDDIE TOY CONVERTIBLE CAR 6 1/4" LONG MADE USA. Car has been painted and some paint is peeling off. Wheels are intact.

This was obviously the "Londontoy Futuristic Car" with the roof missing. It is certainly not a Hubley as the seller indicated. It was listed for sale @ $9.99 US and sold for $9.99 US. I couldn't justify bidding on it as it was missing the roof.
