Londontoy Service Station

Found this on eBay as well. Seller's description was as follows:

Londontoy Service Station made in Canada box set London Toys Oil Tanker & Bus

Up for Auction is this extremely rare Londontoy Service Station play set #45

Made in London, Ontario in the 1940's

Included:

5 vehicles, all are marked Londontoy made in Canada.

Model #12 Pickup truck

Model #13 Oil Tanker

Model #14 Master Deluxe 5 passenger Coupe

Model #17 Bus

Model #15 Beverage Truck

3 Road Signs (Bus Stop, Free Air & STOP) and 2 clock face Gas Pumps.

Starting price was $0.99 US and 24 bids later it sold for $153.50 US!!! Needless to say I didn't bid on it.

Londontoy No. 54M Master Deluxe Passenger Coupe

Here are 2 examples of the Londontoy No. 54M Master Deluxe Passenger Coupe that I found via a Google image search. These images are from an eBay posting that was completed long ago. Here is the seller's description:

Two vintage metal (diecast?) toy cars with clockwork/wind up action.

They are both marked Londontoy No 54 M Made In Canada. I believe they date to the 1940s (otherwise 1950s).

They are bigger than a Dinky car. Each one is 5.75" long.

One is painted as a Police Car, and the other as a Fire Chief's Car.
